Terms of service

Last updated 6 October 2026

About these terms

Eventfully (eventfully.app) is run by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). These terms apply whenever you use it. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Eventfully. How we handle your data is covered in our privacy policy.

The service

Eventfully helps you build a guest list, lay out tables and seat your guests. It is free to use at the moment. If we add paid features, we will show the price before you pay and never charge you without your agreement.

Accounts

•
You can try Eventfully without an account. Your work is tied to your browser, and may be permanently deleted if you do not come back for 7 days.
•
To create an account you must be 18 or over and use an email address or Google account that is yours.
•
Keep access to that email or Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

Everything you put into Eventfully stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run Eventfully for you.
Your guest list holds information about other people. You are responsible for having a good reason to note it down and for keeping it to what you need to plan the event.

Fair use

When using Eventfully, you must not:
•
break the law, or add content that is unlawful or infringes anyone's rights
•
try to reach other people's data or get around limits and security
•
overload or disrupt the service, or create accounts by automated means
•
copy, resell or reverse engineer Eventfully, except where the law allows

Availability

We work to keep Eventfully running, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or remove features. If we decide to close Eventfully, we will give you reasonable notice so you can keep a copy of your plans. For anything important, keep your own copy, such as a printed plan.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you started using Eventfully, or for any business losses. If you use Eventfully for business, our total liability to you is limited to £100.

Ending your use

You can stop using Eventfully at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page and its date when these terms change, and tell you in the app or by email before any significant change. Continuing to use Eventfully after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
